The team has now completed their third season, and boasts of roster of 15 skaters. Entered in the Pre-Novice category - the team has done very well. The girls have increased their commitment to the team, and train together for one hour of off-ice, and 1.5 hours of ice time each week. Skating to music from the old and new Robin Hood soundtracks, the team impressed their families, judges, and spectators alike.
The Ice Caps attended several competitions and performance opportunities this year:
- St Hubert Competition: skate one 21.87 - 7th place
- Winterfest Competition: skate one 28.04, skate two 27.61 - 4th place
- Ontario Regionals (Provincial) Championships: skate one 27.74, skate two 28.46 - 4th place
- March Mania Competition: skate one 26.30, skate two 29.52 - 3rd place
The team also performed at the Nepean Skating Club Synchro Friends and Family night along with Source, the team in the 'Open' category. Additionally, they took part in the March Kanata Skating Club Ice Show.
This team was coached by Lauren Capstick. Assistant coach was Carolynn McCurdy. The team was managed by Susan Kahler.
